Why Fyrelane
Consulting that leaves something behind.
Most consulting ends when the consultant leaves. Fyrelane's work ends with a document — something the organisation keeps, can return to, and can act on without the consultant present.

What you get from working with Fyrelane.
A written document at the end
Every engagement produces a document that captures the conversation's themes, observations, or programme findings — yours to keep and use.
Fixed, transparent pricing
SGD 215, SGD 745, or SGD 1,295 — depending on the engagement. No scope creep, no surprise invoices, no retainer pressure.
Senior attention throughout
All work is carried out by the principal consultant. The person you speak with in the introductory conversation is the person who does the work.
Described, not prescribed
Observations are documented in plain language. Recommendations are offered as considerations, not mandates — the organisation decides what to do with them.
Defined beginning and end
Each engagement has a clear scope. There are no open-ended retainers, no ongoing advisory fees, and no incentive to extend the work beyond what was agreed.
Handled with full confidentiality
Everything discussed during an engagement is subject to a written confidentiality agreement. Information is not shared beyond the agreed participants.
In Detail
What each of those actually means.
Professional expertise
The principal consultant at Fyrelane has spent over a decade working closely with senior leaders in Singapore across finance, professional services, and technology. That experience informs the questions asked during a Warp Conversation, the handoff points selected for a Threading Engagement, and the way coordination is handled across a Loom Programme.
The work does not depend on a methodology imported from elsewhere. It depends on close attention to the specific organisation and the specific people in it — which takes time and requires a consultant who is genuinely engaged with the material, not managing a team of people who are.
Writing as craft
Fyrelane produces written documents rather than presentations or verbal summaries. This is a considered choice. Writing requires precision — it forces clarity about what was actually observed and what is genuinely worth saying. A presentation can paper over gaps with a strong visual; a document cannot.
The documents are written in plain language. They do not use consulting jargon, management frameworks, or business school vocabulary. They describe what was found, offer a few considerations, and stop. A managing director should be able to read the document and act on it without the consultant's presence to explain it.
Client service
The introductory conversation — before any engagement is agreed — is always with the principal consultant. If the situation described doesn't fit well with what Fyrelane offers, that is said directly at that stage. There is no pressure to proceed, no sales process, and no follow-up sequence if the timing isn't right.
During an engagement, the consultant is reachable by email and responds within one business day. For Loom Programmes, a brief written update is sent to the steering group between sessions so that nobody is carrying unanswered questions into the next fortnightly meeting.
Value and pricing
The three engagement fees — SGD 215, SGD 745, and SGD 1,295 — are the full cost of each engagement. Travel within Singapore, preparation documents, written outputs, and any sessions included in the scope are covered by the fee. There are no disbursements added after the fact.
The fees are set at a level that reflects genuine value for the work involved, without being positioned as a premium product for organisations with large consulting budgets. A managing director at a mid-sized Singapore business should be able to commission a Warp Conversation without needing approval from a finance committee.
Outcomes
The outcome of a Warp Conversation is a written reflection that the managing director can act on independently. The outcome of a Threading Engagement is a plain-language description of what was observed — shared with the team, not presented to the board. The outcome of a Loom Programme is a leadership team that has stayed coordinated across a complex initiative, supported by written summaries throughout.
None of these outcomes require the consultant to remain involved beyond the agreed period. The aim is to produce something that stands on its own — not to create a dependency on ongoing external support.

What Sets Us Apart
Distinctive aspects of the work.
The smallest engagement is a complete product
The Warp Conversation at SGD 215 is not a loss-leader designed to open a larger relationship. It is a complete engagement — a structured session with a preparation document and a written reflection. A managing director can commission it with one question in mind and receive something of genuine use.
Output designed to be shared internally
The written documents from Threading Engagements are specifically designed to be shared with the team that was observed — not presented to the board as a third-party finding. The people in the work are the intended readers.
No ecosystem of follow-on services
Fyrelane does not offer training programmes, software tools, change management services, or executive coaching. The work is consulting, specifically — and the three engagements are the full range of what is available.
Suited to organisations that already think clearly
The engagements are designed for leadership teams that are capable and thoughtful, not for organisations that need basic process improvement. The consultant is a counterpart, not a teacher or a fixer.
